Andrea England - News |
Andrea signs distribution deal with Maplenationwide!April, 2004 After taking the time to get it right, Andrea England's debut release, Lemonade, is finally set to hit stores on May 18th. Distributed nationwide by MapleNationwide/UMI and released on Lemonade Factory Records, the roots-influenced pop album was produced by Northern Pikes front man, Bryan Potvin and England over the last 18 months (with the exception of three tracks, Lemonade, co-produced by Creighton Doane, Potvin & England, "Life," produced by Brett Rosenberg and "This Occasion, " produced by England herself). Lemonade features a stellar cast of musicians for a debut artist, but England’s songwriting ability and drive have attracted many veteran players, including keys great Richard Bell (The Band, Janis Joplin) on B3 & Wurlitzer, Drew Birston (Chantal Kreviazuk) on Bass, Potvin on guitar, & Doane on drums. England herself plays a little bit of everything on the album, but it’s the songs that set her a part: ranging from radio ready pop rockers ("Be," "Can’t Let You Go, " & "Life") to torn down delicate album tracks ("Sometimes" and "If You Believe") Lemonade is bound to quench your thirst!. |
